The RS485 communication protocol supports both point-to-point and multi-drop configurations, allowing several meters to share the same communication bus. In multi-sensor systems, a daisy-chained topology (also known as a bus or line topology) is recommended for optimal signal integrity. Proper termination resistors at both ends of the line help minimize signal reflection and data loss.

The MODBUS RTU protocol is used for communication. It supports standard registers for data points such as conductivity, temperature, and TDS. The meter’s internal architecture maps parameters into defined registers, allowing easy integration with supervisory systems. The communication is fast, efficient, and allows for real-time updates and status monitoring.

The 4G module provides a stable and fast communication channel for remote monitoring. It supports reliable data transmission over long distances, ideal for areas lacking stable Wi-Fi or local networks. With automatic reconnection in case of network dropouts, it ensures continuous operation and monitoring, minimizing downtime.

The system employs built-in error-checking algorithms and redundancy features to ensure data integrity. These mechanisms include cyclic redundancy checks (CRC), timestamping, and data packets validation. In case of communication failures, data is stored locally and automatically transmitted once the connection is restored.

The meter is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery, providing up to 30 hours of continuous operation. The auto power-off function helps extend battery life by shutting down the device after 10 minutes of inactivity. Additionally, an AC adapter is available for long-term deployments, ensuring reliable power supply even in remote locations.

The meter is designed for minimal maintenance. The IP65-rated housing ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for outdoor and industrial environments. Additionally, users can remotely monitor and troubleshoot the device via the 4G network, ensuring it operates optimally without frequent onsite intervention.
